The Archdeaconry of Cambridge Church Music Society (ACCMS) is a small unregistered charity (that is, we don’t have a charity number but we do have a constitution that follows the Charity Commission model for a small charity).
We aim to encourage singing and music making in churches in the Archdeaconry of Cambridge and surrounding areas. The biennial Festival of Church Music, held in King’s College Chapel, Cambridge provides a focus for that activity in a remarkable central Cambridge location. The society is immensely grateful to the college and chapel for allowing us to continue to use the chapel for this service.
The society (in its various forms) has been holding services in King’s College Chapel for 150 years.
